Cancellation Policy

At Andromeda Law, we understand that schedules can change unexpectedly. Our cancellation and rescheduling policies are designed to be fair and considerate for both our clients and our practice.

Please note: This cancellation policy applies to non-retainer clients scheduling prepaid consultations. Clients who have an ongoing retainer agreement with us are not subject to cancellation fees; however, cancellations or rescheduling may result in additional billable time due to preparation and administrative efforts.

Rescheduling Appointments

  • Notice Period: You may reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without any penalty.
  • How to Reschedule: Use our online booking tool or contact us directly via email at info@andromeda.law.

Cancellations

  • Advance Cancellations: If you cancel your appointment more than 24 hours before the scheduled time, any prepaid fees can be applied to a rescheduled appointment or held as a credit toward future services.
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may result in the forfeiture of your prepaid consultation fee.
  • No-Shows: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice may also result in the forfeiture of your prepaid consultation fee.

Exceptions

We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation. We will make reasonable accommodations whenever possible.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

Payment Policies

  • Prepaid Consultations: All non-retainer consultations are paid for at the time of booking.
  • Credits for Cancellations: Prepaid fees from canceled appointments (with more than 24 hours’ notice) can be applied to future appointments or services.
  • Cancellation Fees: For late cancellations or no-shows, the prepaid consultation fee serves as the cancellation fee.

For Clients on Retainer

Clients who have retained our services under a retainer agreement are not subject to this cancellation policy. However, please be aware:

  • Billing for Cancellations: Cancellations or rescheduling may result in additional billable time due to preparation and administrative efforts already undertaken.
  • Communication: If you need to change your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible to minimize any additional charges.
