Fees and Payment
We understand that legal fees are expensive and can pose a significant obstacle to pursuing your legal rights. Andromeda Law tries to offer flexible fee arrangements and fee structures, and as many different payment options as possible.
We offer hourly, fixed-fee and contingency agreements depending on the specifics of your matter. While not all fee structures may be suitable for all matters, Benjamin is always willing to discuss what fee structure would work best for you. He started Andromeda Law to provide flexibility and modernity to clients, and extends this to fee structures and payment arrangements.

Benajmin’s base hourly rate is $300.00 per hour, given his seven years experience. The hourly rate option is almost always available for almost any matter, should you wish to pay that way.

Yes. As not only a lawyer but a businessperson himself, Benjamin understands the desire for greater cost certainty in legal fees. He tries to give clients the option of a fixed quote for certain legal services, and will, upon request always try to make this option available.
Due to the nature of certain legal services, fixed-fees may not be possible in all cases.

Where possible, yes. Contingency agreements, where your legal fees are a portion of the money Andromeda Law is able to recover for you (usually 30%) help many people to obtain legal services where they might otherwise be unable to pursue their rights. As such, Benjamin tries to offer these as an option where it makes financial sense, and is always willing to discuss the possibility.

We try to accept almost any electronic payment option. The most commonly used payment options are Interac E-Transfer and Stripe. If you have a specific preferred payment method, we will generally try to accommodate.
Due to Law Society Rules, certain types of payments may have additional restrictions. For instance, the payment of Trust Retainers can usually only be done by E-Transfer. -
Yes, Andromeda Law is set up to, and can accept payment in cryptocurrency, including any accepted through Coinbase Commerce. Feel free to discuss with Benjamin, who is familiar with cryptocurrency payments, if you want to pay via crypto.
